Located by a combination of late night research by the TH Nostalgia Googlers, information kindly provided by her nephew and groundwork by our Head Girl in Malta.

This wonderful eccentric lady (I remember her purposeful stride with cigarette in mouth, usually to one side !) is the reason for my lifelong love of language and literature. Likewise Sheila Grant who gave me a framework for the French language which I still use 54 years on. What exceptional teachers they both were but then so were the others Lt Cdrs Timberlake,Ogden and Hayes, Messrs Edgell, Cleaver and Ruoff and the Rev Currie.

I'm told she lived in Balzan and was a very keen golfer. She played in Mixed Foursomes with my father Gordon Partridge in 1973. I believe she got skin cancer through exposure to the sun, spending her last days in a home in Hamrun.
