The Loyal Regiment (North Lancashire) Being inspected by the Governor General, Sir Maurice Dorman in 1966. "In 1966 the security situation in Aden deteriorated and reinforcement companies of the Loyals were rotated from Malta, and the following year the Lancashires played a distinguished part in the difficult final months of the bitter anti-terrorist campaign, amassing more operational awards there than any other unit."
