Lovely stuff! If I recall correctly in the mid-60s Hop Leaf was c.1/6d a bottle, with Cisk slightly more expensive at c.1/10d. On special occasions (and when pocket money allowed) we splurged half-a-crown on a pint of Watneys Red Barrel at The Lantern, but always returned to Farsons as better value. If anyone disagrees with me about Farsons prices, please feel free to correct me. It's a bit of a struggle trying to remember, but I don't think I'm too far wrong. Cheers! Very Happy

Prices varied - you clearly went to the best watering holes Ivan. Tigne beach charged 1/3 per half-pint bottle (no rent to pay) but bars were dearer. The Naafi sold pint bottles too (to take home), never saw those on sale in bars but you can now get 500ml bottles in some bars.
