Lovely new toy for the boy-racers. Speed limit?
Prefect   [Nov 17, 2015 at 02:12 PM]
Still 40kph when I was there but probably 60-80 now its finished. The mystery is the roundabout which doesn't go anywhere and there is a wall which spoils the view of the sea unless you are in a Range Rover.
Martin Powell   [Nov 17, 2015 at 04:13 PM]
Eyes on the road! I assumed the roundabout would join up with a new inland road one day. Proper planning - or maybe not.
Prefect   [Nov 17, 2015 at 04:35 PM]
Good drivers do not have tunnel vision. The view was always the main attraction of this road.
Martin Powell   [Nov 17, 2015 at 07:36 PM]
What have good drivers got to do with it? Maybe the roundabout is there to slow them down a bit.
Prefect   [Nov 18, 2015 at 06:45 AM]
Maybe. An explanation I have seen somewhere is that its to allow you to change your mind and do a U turn!
Martin Powell   [Nov 18, 2015 at 04:30 PM]
Eminently reasonable.
