Cannot remember the exact date but early 1970s I visited a chum in Malta who was a Royal Marine Commando and as he was into Horses he had the role of looking after the Forces Polo Horse at Marsa Stables - at the time there was only one shared by the Army Navy and RAF and each had a Groom who shared the responsibility of looking after the Horse on a rota basis the Horse was named Black Dobbin or something similar - anyone know what became of it?

Can't help with the horse but the rundown must have been in full swing with only one between 3 services. Difficult to do an Army v Navy Match! Smile
