I loved sailing on games afternoons - first time out in 1966 with Mike Winkworth I was terrified - the following year, Beryl George and I annoyed the hell out of Mr McGillivray by racing each other out of the harbour. Another time we managed to twist our masts together by trying to pass each other at speed..boy was he MAD at us!!!

Thanks Liz. Makes you stop and appreciate those days - there aren't / weren't too many schools where you could tell such tales as if they were normal everyday tellings-off !
