Was this at the spot that used to be called 'The Anchor' (at least by us)? There used to be a large bouy anchor on the seafloor here.

I just remember ll the 'bombing' we used to do off that board. I became quite adept at making big splashes!

From 2017 : Roger Knight wrote "Sad to announce the death of Ray Hart, Tal Handaq 1960-63. Distinguished 30 year career in RAF from age 17. Ended up as Falklands veteran, building RAF Stanley and retired as Air Commodore Raymond Hart O.B.E."
