Oh boy, I can just feel those rusty rails, even 47 years on !! I must have climbed up those hundreds of times. Great picture.

wonderful whole days spent swimming ! Never mind the British rain, I still remember the utter shock ofcoming home from Malta in the middle of the harsh winter of 1963 !!! From sunny St Andrew's school to a dismal Victorian redbrick and comparatively uninteresting lessons. What a rich experience childhoold in Malta was.....I think in many ways we were extremely fortunate.
