"....We sailed a lot this year (2011) and we really have got the hang of it. We made a new genoa and now use the old sprit sail as a topsail as well to try and gain more wind in light air. The bowsprit has been tweaked to stop it bending in cross winds. Any time we are out the tourist boats make a bee-line for us and even the ferries give us room although they do have priority as it is a preferred channel. We did some filming in early summer for a film about a Maltese singer from the 70's called Sammy Bartolo. It is a musical based on some of his songs. It was good fun and going over there was certainly the longest trip we have ever done. We have also done a couple of private hires but only for Italian old boat enthusiasts."
