We often used to make trips from Tigne to Comino; we used three motor launches: The Callboy, Derwent and the Eden.

RASC/RCT Launches, usually moored in Pieta Creek. Got any photos?

I have a photo of the Derwent at Comino. I will try and get it scanned an post it.

Thanks. Interesting film about the RASC HERE including a brief shot of some launches in Reel 2, but not in Malta.

Are you saying that this is an RASC/RCT launch? suggest it must have been in Comino at the same time as us as usually we used a dockyard boat. However Dad had many contacts so possibly he had an in with the Army.

No, with a C number, this is almost certainly a Dockyard boat. I was referring to the boats named by David.

Definitely not an RASC River Class from Pieta. And they were dark blue if I recall.
